We are proud to celebrate the achievements and recognition our school has received. These awards reflect our commitment to providing a high-quality, inclusive, and enriching learning environment for all pupils.

Our current accreditations include the Healthy Schools Award, International School Award, School Games Mark, and the Travel Award, all of which highlight our dedication to pupil wellbeing, global awareness, physical activity, and sustainability.

Travel Award - We are proud to have achieved the Gold TfL Travel for Life Award, the highest level of recognition from Transport for London for promoting safe, active and sustainable travel. This award reflects our commitment to providing high-quality opportunities for pupils to develop road safety awareness, independence and healthy travel habits. It demonstrates that sustainable travel is embedded within our school community, helping pupils make informed choices while contributing to their wellbeing and the local environment.

 

Primary Languages Development Award - We are proud that the quality of Spanish teaching and learning at Rotherfield has been recognised with the Primary Languages Development Award, Enhancing Level. This shows that Spanish is taught to the National Curriculum, fully integrated into and supportive of, Rotherfield's main curriculum. It  is planned with expertise,  preparing children for success in languages at secondary level.  Lessons are engaging and often incorporate play, fostering enjoyment and confidence.  Each child's progress is individually tracked throughout and  language learning is celebrated and enjoyed by all as part of our whole school calendar.

Silver School Games Mark - We are proud to share that we currently hold the Silver School Games Mark, building on our Bronze award achieved last year. The School Games Mark is a national award that recognises schools for their commitment to providing high-quality PE, sport, and competitive opportunities for pupils. Reaching Silver reflects the progress we have made in increasing participation, promoting inclusion, and providing a wide range of sporting opportunities for all pupils, as well as strengthening links within our school and wider community through sport. We are very proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing to develop our provision as we work towards the Gold School Games Mark.

Healthy Schools London - We are proud to hold the Healthy Schools London Silver Award, recognising our commitment to promoting the health and wellbeing of all pupils through a whole-school approach.

The Healthy Schools London Award is a city-wide accreditation that recognises schools for creating environments that support children to lead healthier lives. Achieving Silver status reflects the work we have undertaken to promote healthy eating and positive wellbeing, including the implementation of our healthy packed lunch policy and the provision of a nutritious, balanced food offer for all pupils.

This award demonstrates our ongoing commitment to helping children develop healthy habits that support their learning and long-term success.
