Emily joined the Rotherfield community in September 2024. Emily graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Arts in Melbourne and spent part of her studies on exchange at Westminster University in London. Having relocated from Australia in 2007, she has proudly called London her home ever since. Her introduction to teaching began in Japan, where she taught English to children and discovered her passion for education. After completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with distinction at London Metropolitan University, she has been an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. Emily is committed to furthering her own education and recently completed a National Professional Qualification in Leading Teaching. Emily brings valuable experience to her role as Maths Lead and strives to inspire all children to appreciate the importance of Maths. She firmly believes that the best learning happens with an emphasis on fun and exploration! Emily is dedicated to upholding the high standards of teaching and learning at Rotherfield, ensuring that every child is supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
